Terms & Conditions

SJR Elites — Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 20/09/2026

These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings, sessions, memberships, events, and services provided by SJR Elites. By making a booking or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

1. Bookings and Payments

All bookings must be paid for in accordance with the payment arrangements provided by SJR Elites at the time of booking.

A booking is considered confirmed once payment has been received or confirmation has otherwise been provided by SJR Elites.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate booking and contact information.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations Under 24 Hours — No Refund

Any cancellation made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session, appointment, event, or service will not be eligible for a refund.

This policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, including personal circumstances, changes of plans, or failure to attend.

Where appropriate, SJR Elites may, at its discretion, offer an alternative date or credit instead of a refund. This is not guaranteed and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Cancellations 24 Hours or More in Advance

Where a cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled booking, any refund will be considered in accordance with the circumstances and the applicable booking terms.

Where a refund is approved and processed through Stripe, a £1 administration/processing charge will be deducted from the refund to cover payment processing and associated costs.

For example, if a £20 refund is approved, the amount returned would be £19.

3. Non-Attendance

Failure to attend a booked session without providing at least 24 hours' notice will be treated as a late cancellation.

No refund will be provided for non-attendance or cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking.

4. Changes or Cancellation by SJR Elites

SJR Elites reserves the right to change, postpone, or cancel a session or service where necessary, including due to unforeseen circumstances, staffing issues, venue availability, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where SJR Elites cancels a booking, customers will be informed as soon as reasonably possible and, where applicable, offered an alternative booking or refund.

5. Behaviour and Conduct

All customers, participants, parents, guardians, staff, coaches, volunteers, and visitors are expected to behave respectfully and appropriately.

SJR Elites operates a zero-tolerance approach to bullying, harassment, intimidation, discrimination, threatening behaviour, or abusive conduct.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Verbal abuse, insults, or threatening language.
  • Physical intimidation or aggression.
  • Deliberately excluding, humiliating, or targeting another person.
  • Repeated teasing or behaviour intended to cause distress.
  • Online bullying, including through social media, messaging platforms, or group chats.
  • Spreading malicious or deliberately harmful information about another person.
  • Harassment of staff, coaches, participants, parents, or visitors.
  • Discriminatory comments or behaviour relating to a person's protected characteristics.

Any concerns regarding bullying or inappropriate behaviour should be reported to a member of SJR Elites staff as soon as possible.

Depending on the circumstances, SJR Elites may take appropriate action, including issuing a warning, removing an individual from a session, contacting a parent or guardian, suspending participation, or terminating access to SJR Elites services.

We aim to ensure that all individuals are treated fairly and with dignity, regardless of age, disability, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, pregnancy or maternity, or any other protected characteristic under applicable equality legislation.
